All you need is a garden and a library

A Place to Grow

“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.” — Cicero

Much like a garden, the library is a place that encourages growth. The bookshelves are filled with facts and ideas that help our minds blossom. From the pragmatic—travel guides and car manuals—to the recreational—bestselling mysteries and colorful picture books—the library serves as an environment to nurture visitors of all ages. In the spirit of learning and growing, the library has planned some fun events for nature enthusiasts. (See below) Additionally, if you are new to horticulture or would like to make your flower beds the envy of the neighborhood, check out these handpicked gardening books!

Seed Exchange

Like the puzzle exchange, the seed library will be a place to share your extra seeds and pick up new ones to plant, free of charge! The seed library cabinet is located on the first floor near the information wall. Take some seeds, leave some seeds! We ask that they are not extremely old and please include growing instructions.
