November Teen Events
Do you hear that? That’s the sound of drums in the Library! Registration now open for our Drum Workshop on November 13. See below for more details on that and other programs this month – we’re pretty hyped about What the Craft?! cause we’re wire wrapping gemstones!
Teen events are intended for teens ages 12 – 18 unless otherwise noted.
Reserve your spot for any program that requires registration on our Events Calendar.
Explore and create with K’nex, LittleBits, Strawbees, Legos, meeperBOTS, Spheros and 3-d pens!

Teen Library Council
Join the Teen Library Council to earn volunteer hours and leadership experience! Help plan events, complete service projects, create content for the teen social media pages, and recommend books and materials for the teen collection. Anime Club in the Teen Space! Every month we’ll watch a couple episodes of anime, chat, and vote on what to watch next time!
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining what library programs their children can attend. If you are uncomfortable with your teen viewing material rated PG13/TV14 (or their international equivalent), this club may not be a good fit.

Open gaming! Hang out and play the PS4, Nintendo Switch, board games or card games!
Friday, November 12
Explore African music and folklore through bucket drumming with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music! This program will focus on the folkloric music of the African diaspora in the Caribbean. Participants will discover African, Cuban, Haitian, and various cultural traditions as they make music and learn basic rhythm patterns. Registration required.
This program is presented by Menomonee Falls Public Library and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music with funding through the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Read Africa Grant.

Let’s get crafty! Each month we’ll complete a craft/project for you to keep. This month we’re wire wrapping gemstones for necklaces or keychains!
