The Library is pleased to welcome Corey Golla to the Library Board.
Corey is serving his first year as the Director of Curriculum and Learning in the School District of Menomonee Falls. Prior to this position, he served as the principal at Menomonee Falls High School for the past four years. He began his career in education in the Elmbrook School District where he taught middle and high school Social Studies and then served as the Activities Director at Brookfield East High School.
Corey earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1993 and his teaching credentials shortly thereafter. He later earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Marian College. Corey enjoys the outdoors and is an avid reader. He considers his illustrated first edition of Steinbeck’s The Pearl as one of his prize possessions. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Jody. They have two sons, Dylan and Jackson.
