If you know how to knit or crochet, you might be able to save a baby’s life.
Menomonee Falls Public Library is collecting newborn baby-sized hats that are at least 50% purple. Donated hats collected before October 1 will be distributed in November and December 2018 as part of the “Click for Babies” campaign.
Need a pattern? There are a number of patterns available on the Click for Babies website.
In a knitting or crochet group and want to do a group project? Let us know!
A donation box will be available in the library lobby to drop off your hats.
If you don’t know how to knit or crochet — you can still help by donating purple yarn or funds to purchase yarn.
For more information on how you can help or if you would like to use some of our donated yarn, please contact Ellen Rohr, firstname.lastname@example.org or call 262-532-8930.
The goal of the Click for Babies campaign is to increase awareness and educate others about the period of PURPLE Crying that all infants go through. The program educates parents on how to respond to prolonged crying and the importance of never shaking a child – all in an effort to prevent the shaking and abuse of infants.
Special thanks to the following people or groups that have donated to the project:
