The Library is hiring a Makerspace Coordinator
Are you the kind of person with the skills to 3D print an elephant, sew or crochet a cute little shirt to put on your elephant, and inspire others how to create things like this? If so, we have the job for you!
We’re looking for a crafty genius with mad technology skills to oversee our makerspace, The Forge.
As Makerspace Coordinator, you will organize, plan, and develop resources, programs, and activities in The Forge. You will also work with Library staff and community organizations to develop a maker community in Menomonee Falls.
The Makerspace Coordinator is a 20 hour per week position. You will need to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, and some Saturdays. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required, with a background in engineering, libraries, education, the arts, or information technology strongly preferred.
The hourly wage for this position begins at $17.00 per hour.
The deadline for priority consideration is Monday, January 24th. Position is open until filled.
