Programs for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers

Parachute Play

Wednesday, January 18 OR Saturday, January 21, 10:00—10:30 AM

Sing, dance, and engage in cooperative play with parachutes. Ages 2 to 5.

Little Makers

Wednesdays, 9:15—9:45 AM OR 10:15—10:45 AM OR 11:15—11:45 AM

Engage in stories, songs, and open-ended art projects. Ages 1 to 3 with a caregiver.

Winter/Spring sessions include pipe cleaner bird feeders (January 25), blob painting (February 22), black paper coloring (March 22), and painting on foil (April 26). Please inform us of any food allergies so that we may best accommodate all children.

Block Party

Build your own creation using the library’s collection of LEGO® blocks. Grades K and up or with adult supervision.

Full STEAM Ahead

Wednesdays, 4:00—5:00 PM
January 18, February 15, March 15, April 12, April 19

Participate in activities that explore various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) concepts. Grades K and up.

Winter/Spring sessions include snow science (January 18), magnetic power (February 15), bubble making (March 15), and slime science (April 12 and 19). Please inform us of any food allergies so that we may best accommodate all children.

Marble Runs

Monday, April 17, 1:30—3:30 PM

Use recyclable materials to design your own marble run and then test it out. Grades K and up.


Programs for Families

Drive-In Movie

Saturday, February 18, 10:00—11:30 AM

Create your own car using a cardboard box then sit back, enjoy a snack, and watch a short film. All ages welcome.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Saturday, March 2, 6:00—7:00 PM

Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ legacy with stories and fun family activities. All ages welcome.

Teddy Bear Tea Party

Saturday, March 18, 10:00—11:00 AM

You and your teddy bear (or other stuffed friend) are cordially invited to join us for a morning of fun stories, activities, and, of course, tea and snacks. Ages 4 and up.

Plant a Seed

Saturday, April 22, 10:00—11:30 AM

In celebration of Earth Day, drop by and plant some seeds to take home and nurture. Expect the project to take 30 minutes to complete. All ages welcome.
