Public Computers

The Library has public computers. Printing is available from all computers. Black/white printing is 15¢/page and color printing is 50¢/page.

All patrons must read and agree to the Library’s Internet Use Policy when they log in to a public computer. Patrons who violate the Policy will be asked to leave the library and might have their internet privileges suspended.

There is no time limit for use of the computers unless all public computers are in use. When that happens we limit use of the computers to one hour. Public computers automatically shut down 5 minutes before closing time. Any work not saved prior to that time will be lost.

Librarians can usually provide brief assistance to patrons who are using public computers.

Wi-Fi Hotspots

The Library has 22 – Wi-Fi Hotspots that provide unlimited data over a 4G/3G signal on the Sprint Network for up to 10 devices.

    • Mobile Hotspots may be checked out for one week (7 days) and renewed up to three times if there are no current holds on the device.  Lucky Day hotspots are not holdable or allowed renewals.

    • Hotspots can be picked up at Menomonee Falls Library Circulation Desk.

    • The device and all of its components (charger, battery, carrying case) must be returned to a circulation staff member at the Menomonee Falls Library. Please do not return in a book drop or return at another CAFÉ Library.

    • Holds can be placed on hotspots, but we cannot guarantee their availability for a specific date or time.

    • Overdue hotspots will have internet access disabled.

For more information about Wi-Fi Hotspots please see a staff member or call 262-532-8900.
