Welcome to the Menomonee Falls Public Library Youth Department!
The Youth Department serves children from birth through sixth grade, as well as the adults who care for and teach them. We believe that a love of books and learning is integral to a child’s success in life and should be emphasized from a young age.
We have materials to satisfy every reader. Our department contains a variety of books in many formats, including board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, graphic novels, nonfiction books, audiobooks, and more. We also have popular DVDs, CDs, and magazines available.
We believe that the library can be so much more than a place to borrow materials, however; it can also be an active learning center for children and their caregivers. We offer many learning opportunities for our youngest patrons, including our Early Literacy Corner, complete with rotating games and a large play tree, iPads loaded with early literacy apps, storytimes, and other programs that help build early literacy skills.
