It’s almost spring break season! Students at the School District of Menomonee Falls will be on spring break from March 28-April 5. During this time, regular weekly storytimes will be paused, but your library has planned several exciting special activities and events for families and children of all ages.
Storytime with Author and Illustrator Josh Lemke – Saturday, March 28, 10:00 AM
- The library is excited to host Josh Lemke, a creator of several charming, rhyming children’s books featuring his dog, Birdie, and her adventures. Join us for a storytime, photo-op, and a chance to learn about his newest books! Signed books will be for sale for $10 after storytime. This program is best suited for ages 4-8.
American Girl Doll Party – Monday, March 30, 2:00 PM
- Celebrate the 40th anniversary of American Girl with crafts, games, and activities inspired by the historical dolls. This party is best suited for ages 5-12.
LEGO Club – Wednesday, April 1, 3:00 PM
- Calling all LEGO enthusiasts! Drop in for some creative building time. We’ll have suggested challenges for you to try, or you can build your own creation. Projects will be on display for the following month in the Children’s Department.
Wild Kratts Alaska: PBS Movie and Activities – Thursday, April 2, 10:00 AM
- View the PBS movie Wild Kratts Alaska: Heroes Journey with us, and then stick around for some Wild Kratts themed coloring and activity sheets. This event is best suited for children ages 5-12 and their caregivers. Children under ten must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the library. Movie length: 47 minutes
