The Menomonee Falls Library Friends are excited to update you all on several exciting happenings during the Month of April.
- Our annual Spring Book Sale is approaching! Friends members get to shop a day early on Wednesday, April 22 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM – “Friends Firsties”. There is always a line of people waiting for the Friends Firsties early access! Our Board volunteers will be staffing this. Come say hi! If you are not a member of the Friends, you are welcome to join at the door.
2. If you have been to the library during March 1 – April 14, you may have noticed several amazing art pieces upstairs thanks to the Menomonee Falls Area Student Art Show! Did you know that the Library Friends select one piece each year to be framed and put on permanent display in the Library? The winning artist also receives a cash prize! You can see past winners art on display all throughout the library. The 2026 winning piece will be framed and on permanent display later this Spring after being recognized in the Library on April 14.
3. Finally, April 19-25 is National Library Appreciation Week! Join the Friends in saying “Thank You” to our wonderful Menomonee Falls Library Staff. This year’s theme is “Find your JOY”. Watch The Friends Facebook page for content related to the JOY of reading!
