Menomonee Falls Public Library Welcomes Latitude Café with Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening Celebration
Menomonee Falls Public Library officially celebrated the grand opening of Latitude Café on the second floor of the Library with a ribbon cutting on September 5, 2024, and grand opening celebration the following day. The new café, which opened on September 6, is located at W156N8436 Pilgrim Road inside the Library. Village of Menomonee Falls Manager, local Village and Library Board trustees, and Latitude Café owners Amber and Daniel Levy attended the event as well as Senator Dan Knodl.
“…This is a perfect collaboration of not only the public sector but the private sector and bringing that together,” said Village Board Trustee Ann Lessila, who also sits on the Library Board. “Not only is this going to be a nice new service for our community and our Library but it’s also going to be another source of revenue. So how exciting that now we can use this revenue to do little updates in the Library.”
Founded in 1906, Menomonee Falls Public Library encourages life-long learning by providing materials, services, and programs to enrich the community’s educational, informational and recreational needs. Latitude Café is family-owned and has been brewing up the community since May of 2019. Their shop was the first to introduce micro-roasting in the state of Wisconsin and feature coffee, baked goods, soups, sandwiches, light breakfast and lunch.
Latitude Café is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
