We have a permanent StoryWalk® in Library Park! Next time you visit the Library, head out to the park to enjoy our StoryWalk®. We’ve combined the joy of reading with the benefits of movement. As you stroll through the park, follow the story page by page on signs along the path. It’s a great way to engage young readers, stretch your legs, and enjoy some fresh air together. Be sure to sign our digital guest book to tell us about your experience!
Funding for the Menomonee Falls Public Library StoryWalk® was generously provided by Carole McGibany and is sustained by the Menomonee Falls Library Friends. Thank you!

Our first story is Acorn Was a Little Wild by Jen Arena and illustrated by Jessica Gibson. You can expect to see a multiple stories featured throughout the year, with more frequent updates occurring mid-year (April — October) when the weather allows. All of our featured stories are paired with the 5 Practices of Early Literacy and activity prompts along the way.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
