A murder mystery that will have you on the edge of your seats

Teen News and Events for February 2024

Get ready to party like Gatsby and solve a mystery in style – this is one event you won’t want to miss!

On Saturday, February 3, at 3:00 PM, Menomonee Falls Public Library is bringing you an exclusive 1920s-themed murder mystery that will have you on the edge of your seats.

It’s the height of the 1920s in Chicago, a dazzling era of flappers and jazz, but there’s a war brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. Hal Sapone and Beanie O’Dannon, the ruthless crime bosses, have agreed to a truce. The city is buzzing with tension, and the air is thick with anticipation.

Teens, ages 13 – 18, are invited to the Grand Gatsby for an official meeting between the rivals. Will they peacefully resolve their differences, or will chaos erupt, rekindling the fatal flames between them? The fate of the underground organizations lies in the balance.

Here’s the twist—it’s not just about solving the mystery. We want you to step into the shoes of a 1920s character! Dress to the nines in flapper dresses, dapper suits, and all the glitz and glamour of the Jazz Age. Your attire could be the key to cracking the case and making history in the roaring twenties!

So, mark your calendars, grab your fedoras and pearls, and join us for an unforgettable event of intrigue, suspense, and a roaring good time. Will you be the one to untangle the web of secrets and bring harmony to the underground world of Chicago’s mobsters?

Register for Murder at the Grand Gatsby today! Choose your top three character choices at registration. Character assignments will be done on a first-come first-served basis and emailed to you before the event.
