2025 – 2026 Winter Reading Challenge
Cozy up with a book in your favorite nook for the Menomonee Falls Public Library Winter Reading Challenge!
From December 15 – January 24, we invite readers of all ages to log each day they read at least twenty minutes on Beanstack. You’ll earn small rewards for participating and tickets to enter our prize drawings.
Log 25 days to complete the reading challenge! Reading more days will earn you more tickets to the grand prize drawings.
All reading counts! That includes print books, e-books, magazines, newspapers, graphic novels, websites, and audiobooks. Read to yourself, read to a pet, or read together as a family and log the day for everyone!

Sign up online, in the Beanstack Tracker app, or in person at the Library.
Registration and logging begin on Monday, December 15.
The Goal
Log each day you read at least 20 minutes during the 40 day challenge.
Read at least 25 days to complete the challenge!
Keep logging if you read more days to earn extra tickets to the prize drawings.

What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is an online platform the Library is using to run this year’s Winter Library Program. Through Beanstack, you can log days read for the chance to earn digital badges and tickets for prize drawings.
How do I get started?
If you have participated in our previous reading challenges on Beanstack:
- Go to MenomoneeFallsLibrary.beanstack.org.
- Click on Sign In.
- From your home screen, locate the Winter Reading Challenge under More Challenges and select Join Challenge.
- You’re ready to start logging your reading!
If you have not participated in our previous reading challenges on Beanstack:
- Go to MenomoneeFallsLibrary.beanstack.org.
- Click on Register an Individual or Family.
- If registering as a family, the parent or caregiver should begin by clicking I am registering myself. If just registering your children, click on I am an adult registering a child.
- Fill in all required fields and select applicable reading challenge to complete registration.
- Once you are registered, you will be taken to your account page. This is where you will log your reading and track the badges you earn!
How do I log reading?
- Go to MenomoneeFallsLibrary.beanstack.org or use the Beanstack Tracker app for iPhone and Android devices and log in to your account.
- Select Log Reading and Activities on the top left side of the website, or the plus icon on the bottom of the app.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to log what you’ve accomplished.
- Along the way you’ll receive digital badges and notifications for prizes and tickets you’ve earned. Don’t forget to assign your tickets to prizes in order to be entered in the drawings.
How do I assign tickets to prize drawings?
Using the Website
- Log in to your account at MenomoneeFallsLibrary.beanstack.org.
- Select your reader.
- View the Current Challenges tab and then select Return to this Challenge.
- Under the Challenge name, click on the Ticket Drawings
- On this page, you can see how many tickets you have left to spend, the different prize basket drawing options, and how many tickets you’ve already assigned to the different drawings.
- Add more tickets to the drawings by clicking on the blue Add Tickets
Using the App
- Open up the app and make sure you’re logged into your account.
- Select your reader.
- From the home screen, scroll down to Current Challenges and click on the banner to open.
- Look for the Drawings icon and click on it.
- On this page, you can see how many tickets you have left to spend, the different prize basket drawing options, and how many tickets you’ve already assigned to the different drawings.
- Click on the images to learn more about each drawing, see how many tickets you’ve already assigned to each drawing, and add more tickets using the Add Tickets
