Ready for our 2026 Summer Library Program? We hope so, because this year we have a fantastic reading program designed for patrons of all ages: for children, teens, and adults!
You can begin signing up today, June 1! You can sign up online by visiting MenomoneeFallsLibrary.Beanstack.org or by downloading the Beanstack Tracker app.
The theme of our Summer Library Program is Unearth A Story. We have amazing events planned and outstanding prizes for patrons to win.
Today, we’re going to focus more on the adult reading challenge, but keep an eye out for details about the children and teen programs as more schools get released for summer.
Format
This year, we’re asking patrons of all ages to log 30 days of reading to complete the challenge. The program lasts for 61 days, from June 1 to July 31. All you have to do is read 20 minutes to log one day of reading, but you’re always welcome to read more.
Along the way, you’ll earn tickets for a chance to win awesome prizes. For adults, you’ll earn tickets to enter into a Halfway and Grand Prize Drawing. Here’s some key dates:
- Tuesday June, 30: Last day for adults to enter tickets into Halfway Prize Drawing
- Wednesday, July 1: Adult Halfway Prizes Drawn and winners notified
- Friday, July 31: Last day to log reading and enter tickets into the Grand Prize Drawing (all ages)
- Monday, August 3: Grand Prizes drawn and winners notified (all ages)
The Prizes
Our program would have never happened without the generosity of our Community Donors.
This year, adults can win 1 of 2 Puzzle Boards sponsored by the Menomonee Falls Library Friends, Brewers or Admirals tickets, gift cards to Johnson’s Nursery Inc., Ally’s Bistro, Chocolate Falls, Bank of Flowers, Falls Axe & Escape, Karl’s Country Market, or the Hot House Tavern, dance lessons at Fred Astaire Menomonee Falls, a one-year family membership to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, a prize basket from Latitude Café or Epilogue books, and so much more!
Remember, our Summer Library Program is a community event with a reading challenge for patrons of all ages. For parents and caregivers, reading with your children counts. There’s a little bit of fun for everyone, no matter your age or reading level.
